An epic game of exploration, building and conquest

Trying out a few font related things.

Working on the cover. The elephant is derived from a museum piece on mughal elephant armour. There is a sort of a sketch of a mughal warrior armour/helmet – that wasn’t so good but you can’t tell in this pic. The cannon is derived from a bunch of cannons in India. I’ve iterated the fort for years now but some bits are from the Mehrangargh fort. The depiction of fighting on the right is derived from a beautiful painting of the santhal rebellion (around 1850s me thinks). That bit also has strong warli influence. The colour scheme is mostly derived from warli. Sud made the text. Sud also came up with warli themed art for cover and persisted even when I was super reluctant to try this.

Near perfect Sunday. Almost done with the yellow set. Did some cover iterations

Sud got the entire tile set printed and made a jig for pasting with pvc glue on the backs of the tiles.

Sud and I discussed the cover page today
